What the S-BAT Tests
Three sections. Each tests a different dimension of how you think and reason.
Verbal and Logical Reasoning
Reading comprehension, critical reasoning, logical sequences, and analogies. Tests how you interpret and evaluate information.
Quantitative Aptitude
Arithmetic, percentages, data interpretation, and basic algebra. Tests your ability to work with numbers and data.
AI and Business Thinking
AI concepts in business contexts, case-based reasoning, and real-world AI application scenarios. Tests awareness and judgment, not technical knowledge.
How to Prepare
Section-by-section tips. No prior AI knowledge required.
Verbal and Logical Reasoning
- Practice reading short passages and answering inference-based questions quickly.
- Work through logical puzzles - syllogisms, analogies, and number series.
- Focus on accuracy first. You have about 2 minutes per question in this section.
Quantitative Aptitude
- Revise percentages, ratios, profit-loss, and basic algebra - Class 10-11 level is sufficient.
- Practice reading bar charts and tables to answer data interpretation questions fast.
- No calculus or advanced maths required.
AI and Business Thinking
- Follow what businesses are doing with AI - read news, watch explainers, notice use cases.
- No coding or technical AI knowledge needed. This section rewards curiosity and judgment.
- Practice thinking through scenarios: "How would AI help a business solve this problem?"
